Oh-so-English and very posh, this best selling, Earl Grey blend is essential for High Tea. Be transported to the English countryside by the aroma of heavenly Bergamot. These Earl Grey tea bags are a mainstay in your tea cupboard. Reach for them when you crave this select blend of finest teas with its particularly invigorating and refreshing citrus taste. Sip 'as is' or add a slice of lemon if so desired.

Our Earl Grey blend has a slightly higher dosage of bergamot when compared to our Aromatic Earl Grey blend.

Tea Preparation
Water

The quality of water used has an impact on the quality of the tea. Always use freshly drawn water or filtered water.

Temperature

Heat fresh water to a rolling boil or to a temperature of 212F using an electric hot water heater or a stove top kettle.

Infusion Time

Once the water reaches the appropriate temperature, it should be poured immediately over the tea bag. Keep the teapot covered to retain heat. Time steeping carefully and infuse for 5 minutes. When the tea is done steeping, immediately remove the tea and lightly stir.

Caffeine Level

This black tea has more caffeine than teas in our green tea range. It's important to keep in mind that brew time accounts for the primary influence over a tea's caffeine content.

The flavor is the best of all Earl Gray teas I’ve tried

I love Bergamot!

Earl Grey is my favorite tea, especially when it contains extra Bergamot. Is this tea Arabic, or English?

Good taste, great price!

The early grey tea tastes good. I get the box of 100 tagged (not sealed/ no individual paper or foils around the bags). That way the box is more compact and takes up less space on the counter or in the cupboard. The price is great. Much cheaper than a small box of sealed tea bags at the grocery store. Also, I appreciate that the dividers are printed as bookmarks. I do use them as bookmarks. Thanks!

Not the same Flavor as it used to be

I've been drinking Ahmad Earl Grey tea for decades and loved it.
This year the flavor of the tea changed and it just tastes off.
I'm very upset about it as this is my favorite tea. I tried to by it from different vendors this year, including Ahmad Tea website, but it still doesn't taste good (it is actually pretty terrible flavor).
Will not buy this tea again, unfortunately. Hopefully, they can fix the flavor for what it was before.
