Only grown in the Darjeeling region of India this golden colored tea is known as the 'Champagne' of teas. And rightly so. A delicate black tea with a hint of sweetness, simply enjoy 'as is' in your best teacup.
Tea Preparation
Water

The quality of water used has an impact on the quality of the tea. Always use freshly drawn water or filtered water.

Temperature

Heat fresh water to rolling boil or to a temperature of 212F using an electric hot water heater or a stove top kettle.

Infusion Time

Use the infuser of your choice. Measure 1 teaspoon of tea per person. For a stronger brew preference, add an additional teaspoon for the pot.

Once the water reaches the appropriate temperature, it should be poured immediately over the tea leaves. Keep the teapot covered to retain heat. Time steeping carefully and infuse for 7-10 minutes. When the tea is done steeping, immediately remove the tea and lightly stir.

Caffeine Level

This black tea has more caffeine than teas in our green tea range. It's important to keep in mind that brew time accounts for the primary influence over a tea's caffeine content.

Affordable Delicious Darjeeling!

Darjeeling is the only tea I drink. And I drink a lot of it. Ahmad makes it affordable - and delicious. The people at this company are so helpful and reliable. Thanks for making sure I never go without.!

Indeed “The Champagne of Teas”

This particular blend of Darjeeling tea is outstanding! Frim now on this is the one that I will keep on hand. It pairs well with desserts, and really is just an uncomplicated cup of tea to finish the day with. I love the fragrance, body, and smooth taste.

Darjeeling

This has become my favorite afternoon tea. I have bought the teabags and the loose tea leaves and have found they both make a great cup of tea.

aromatically representative Darjeeling

This tea is deliciously aromatic, making a perfect cup served black with white sugar, for a classic taste, or blended 50-50 with Ahmad's Imperial Blend and served with milk and unrefined cane sugar, for a richly caramel flavor.
