A fine blend of quality black teas, delicately balanced with clove pieces to deliver a fragrant and satisfying cup. For centuries, clove has been highly prized and valued for its aromatic and medicinal properties.
Tea Preparation
Water

The quality of water used has an impact on the quality of the tea. Always use freshly drawn water or filtered water.

Temperature

Heat fresh water to a rolling boil or to a temperature of 212F using an electric hot water heater or a stove top kettle.

Infusion Time

Once the water reaches the appropriate temperature, it should be poured immediately over the tea bag. Keep the teapot covered to retain heat. Time steeping carefully and infuse for 3-5 minutes. When the tea is done steeping, immediately remove the tea and lightly stir.

Caffeine Level

This black tea has more caffeine than teas in our green tea range. It's important to keep in mind that brew time accounts for the primary influence over a tea's caffeine content.

Unique and delicious

This tea is unlike anything on the market, which increases it’s desirability. It is a warm spice but not cloying like cinnamon nor bitter like nutmeg. Clove is a perfect pairing within tea. It is delicious hot or cold; I have also made iced tea with it. Fruit teas can be fine but nothing is better than a sophisticated cuppa and Clove tea is absolutely perfect.

Clove Heaven

This is a lovely, single note tea. It smells much stronger in the package than on the tongue, which is a good thing. Clove can be overwhelming, but this perfect. It’s a fall/winter spice, but it was perfect on a 95 degree day, so don’t be afraid of brewing a pot any day of the year.
