Tea Preparation
Water

The quality of water used has an impact on the quality of the tea. Always use freshly drawn water or filtered water. 

Temperature

Heat fresh water to a rolling boil or to a temperature of 212F using an electric hot water heater or a stove top kettle.

Infusion Time

Once the water reaches the appropriate temperature, it should be poured immediately over the tea bag. Keep the teapot covered to retain heat. Time steeping carefully and infuse for 3-5 minutes. When the tea is done steeping, immediately remove the tea and lightly stir.

Caffeine Level

This black tea has more caffeine than teas in our green tea range. It's important to keep in mind that brew time accounts for the primary influence over a tea's caffeine content.

Nice cinnamon flavor, which I like, if you leave the teabag in your hot water for 5 minutes or mare.

Mild and smooth flavor

Based on another review I was expecting the cinnamon flavor to be very strong but I found it to be the opposite. It was a very subtle mild cinnamon flavor compared to another brand's cinnamon black tea I usually get that has a much stronger cinnamon flavor (Harney & Sons). While this Ahmad cinnamon tea is very pleasant, smooth, clean and not bitter, it doesn't pack the cinnamon strength I was expecting. I think the cinnamon flavor could be amped up a bit.

Wow!

Wow! My family are huge tea drinkers and we especially love cinnamon tea. Anything with cinnamon in it in fact! My mother and I were pleasantly surprised when we found this tea in a local market. It was the only Ahmad tea they had, and only one box left! So we decided to give it a try and we were amazed. It's honestly one of the best, if not the best, cinnamon teas we've ever had. It has such a strong, delicious cinnamon flavor...but none of the bitterness that cinnamon and black teas often have. A very strong, clean, pleasant flavor. You will absolutely not be disappointed by this tea. We'll be stocking up on these for sure!!
