This Ahmad Tea exclusive blend and best seller is a tea for all occasions and any accompaniments. More fragrant than an English Breakfast blend with less bergamot than an Earl Grey blend, this is both satisfyingly smooth and subtly fragrant. A winning combination we're sure you'll agree. Very drinkable with or without milk and very nice for tea and English biscuits.

Tea Preparation
Water

The quality of water used has an impact on the quality of the tea. Always use freshly drawn water or filtered water.

Temperature

Heat fresh water to a rolling boil or to a temperature of 212F using an electric hot water heater or a stove top kettle.

Infusion Time

Once the water reaches the appropriate temperature, it should be poured immediately over the tea bag. Keep the teapot covered to retain heat. Time steeping carefully and infuse for 5 minutes. When the tea is done steeping, immediately remove the tea and lightly stir.

Caffeine Level

This black tea has more caffeine than teas in our green tea range. It's important to keep in mind that brew time accounts for the primary influence over a tea's caffeine content.

The perfect cup

I grew up drinking black tea in the UK, and knew no other. It wasn’t until I was into my late 40s that a friend urged me to try Earl Gray. NO - I didn’t like it at all.
Fast forward to my tea drinking days in my late 60s - I adore Ceylon tea but thought I’d give a try to English Tea No.1. It truly has become a combined favourite - either a cup of Ahmad Ceylon, Afternoon Tea, or their No.1 is what I reach for and order time and time again. The slightest hint of Bergamot so it’s in no way overpowering makes the No.1 tea - well - No.1. Thank you Ahmad Tea for making my cup of tea a true drinking delight. The Afternoon Tea is also magnificent. Try all three - stock up, and never run out!

This one is good as are all their teas. I order all my tea from Ahmad Tea.

Delightful

One of my top three Amad teas. Smooth and deep flavor.
