Organic Japanese Matcha Green Tea
Our organic Japanese matcha green tea is delicately grown under three layers of shade to boost its chlorophyll levels before being ground into a fine powder. The outcome is a truly super tea full of all the nutritional benefits of the whole tea leaf.
Matcha green tea powder can be enjoyed hot, cold and in baking. You can even add it to your latte.
Each tin contains 30g of matcha green tea.
The quality of water used has an impact on the quality of the tea. Always use freshly drawn water or filtered water.
Heat fresh water to just under a boil or to a temperature between 176-194F.
Simply add 2g (half a teaspoon) of matcha to 6 ounces of hot water and stir/whisk rapidly for 1-2 minutes.
Matcha's caffeine content is slightly higher than a bagged green tea and is rich in vitamin C, antioxidants, minerals and nutrients.
