Water
The quality of water used as an impact on the quality of the tea. Always use freshly drawn water or filtered water. Heat water to the recommended temperature using an electric hot water heater or a stove top kettle.

Temperature
Heat fresh water to a rolling boil or to a temperature of 212F.

Infusion Time
Once the water reaches the appropriate temperature, it should be poured immediately over the tea bag.Keep the teapot covered to retain heat. Time steeping carefully and infuse for 5 minutes. When the tea is done steeping, immediately remove the tea and lightly stir.
This black tea has more caffeine than teas in our green tea range. It's important to keep in mind that brew time accounts for the primary influence over a tea's caffeine content.

This is my go to morning tea every day and it's even replaced my morning coffee ritual. I steep it for about 4 minutes and add a bit of milk and it's perfection! Thanks Ahmad for the high quality teas :)

    Breakfast tea
By Faith on December 30, 2015

I found this brand of tea in a grocery store in Southern Utah. I love strong black tea having been raised on it in the UK. When I moved the US it was hard to find a good tea until I came across this brand. I use the English Breakfast tea for breakfast and Earl Grey throughout the day. This is an excellent and very consistent tea.

    Unlike any other!
By Clinton Turner on February 19, 2015

Ahmad Tea's English Breakfast is unlike any other I've had before. When I first smelt a sachet of this tea, the fragrance conjured in my mind images of the Palace of Westminster and red double-decker buses. I was mighty eager then to make the first cup. After I infused the tea and added a bit of sweetener, I took two sips and was impressed. I don't have to add milk to this particular English Breakfast tea. For me it is perfect with only an addition of sweetener. The flavour is rich and each cup is meant to be thoroughly enjoyed.

    What a wonderful blend!
By Susan on September 23, 2014

This blend made me fall in love with tea all over again. I purchased a decorative tin in London last summer and didn’t consider the quality of the tea until I tried a cup back home to the USA. What a wonderful blend! Once cup transports me back to a cafe on the Thames, keeping an eye out for Sherlock. It’s a trip to London in a little warm cup. I’m so glad I can find it here in the States.
